Dubai South, formerly known as Dubai World Central, was established in 2006 under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and is currently led by HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman. As a government-backed master developer, Dubai South has built a strong reputation for delivering large-scale, community-focused projects.

The company’s most notable completed development is The Pulse, comprising over 1,400 apartments and 240 townhouses, along with the highly successful Pulse Villas. Dubai South’s major ongoing off-plan development is South Bay, a waterfront gated community offering villas, townhouses, and luxurious mansions, with amenities such as a crystal lagoon and beachfront clubhouse. Another newly launched and sold-out project is South Living.

These developments are centered in the Residential District, close to Al Maktoum International Airport and the Expo 2020 site. The company manages both branded projects under Dubai South Properties and non-branded residential offerings. Dubai South’s future plans include expanding South Bay Phase 3, introducing more retail and lifestyle facilities, adding a British school, and enhancing green spaces. With a focus on affordability, connectivity, and sustainable urban living, Dubai South continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Dubai’s residential and commercial real estate landscape.
